Nebraska Educators Rising Competitive Events Statement of Assurance
As the Chapter Advisor submitting competitive event materials on behalf of my students, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Originality & Citations
All ideas, text, images, and sound from other sources used in the competition submissions have been properly cited.
Competitors are strongly discouraged from using copyrighted material in their submissions. If copyrighted material is used, written permission has been obtained to display and present media-related materials at the Educators Rising National Conference and post-media-related materials on the Educators Rising website.
All permissions obtained for copyrighted material are included with the entry submission.
Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in all documents submitted.
Judges have the authority to disqualify students if any part of their documents is found to be plagiarized.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Unless specifically stated in the competition guidelines, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) software and programs is strictly prohibited in creating and preparing all materials submitted for Educators Rising competitions. This includes but is not limited to documents, graphics, speeches, videos, and presentations.
All submitted work must be the original and independent creation of the participant.
The use of spelling and grammar check tools is allowed.
Students competing will attest that they did not use any AI in the development and delivery of their competition submission. Students found in violation of this rule will be disqualified.
Usage Rights & Permissions
Entrants grant Educators Rising the right to use and publish the submission in print, online, or in any media without compensation.
Entrants grant Educators Rising the right to post photos of students for promotional purposes on the Educators Rising website, Membership Portal, and social media platforms.
By submitting competitive event materials, I confirm that I have reviewed and ensured compliance with these policies. I understand that failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification of the student(s) from the competition.
